Many people are asking about Raspberry Pi and OpenAssistant would certainly run on it.

The largest part of OpenAssistant is 'Festival' which could be replaced with a smaller voice synthesis system such as 'espeak'.

Just gave Stella the ability to remember a discussion subject via echoing the topic to a static file named `./etc/topic`

Successfully tested simply saying 'yes' after Stella asks if I want to run diagnostics.

Will be setting up this 'topic' functionality throughout the 'commands' file.

Proceeding to develop this 'AI' in my own unique way.

Certainly there are probably better ways to do all of this, yet I'm of the mind to try something simple, intuitive, and different.

Install Festival with:

sudo apt-get install festival

Try out Festival with:

echo “Just what do you think you're doing, Dave?” | festival --tts
